On The Fence With No-BS Politics? To You I Say This...
Many of you know that the theme of my “Connect with Crosbie” tour is No-BS Politics.
I’ve had a lot of positive responses to this concept while visiting districts around Newfoundland and Labrador, but not everyone reacts positively to “No-BS Politics”…
The truth is, a lot of people are so disillusioned with our provincial politics that they don’t think No-BS Politics is possible. In other words, it’s hard to imagine having politicians who tell it like it is.
I get it.
I know I won’t be able to convince everyone that I can inject more honesty into politics until I get elected PC Leader and actually start doing it. (That’s if I decide to run.)
But to those who haven’t made up their minds yet, I would like to show this…
“Ches is a man of the utmost integrity. He's upfront and to the point…He will not mislead you in any way.”
“...a person of compassion, honesty, sincerity and a good listener… he has a desire to seek justice and fairness…”
“Mr. Crosbie is a very approachable man. He is very straightforward and very caring…”
These are the things that people who know me say about me. They do not reveal the character of a man who will deceive people.
If I am elected Leader of the PC Party, I will apply my integrity, honesty, and compassion to politics. And I will devote time and effort to finding good candidates with the same intention.
In the next election, we must choose authentic voices committed to truth-telling while representing the province we love.
