Al Antle endorses Ches Crosbie’s leadership campaign

St. John’s, NL (January 15, 2017) – Financial wellness professional Al Antle is endorsing Ches Crosbie in his leadership bid for the Progressive Conservative Party of Newfoundland and Labrador.

“My primary reason for endorsing Ches Crosbie is based on his evident competence,” says Antle.

“He is arguably one of the brightest minds in Newfoundland and Labrador, and his fundamental grasp on the province’s economics makes him ideally suited to ferry us through the approaching difficulties. He will exercise a balanced political approach tempered by sound and realistic economic logic.”

“Ches is committed to our province and her people. He has made it his business to know and understand the local priorities of our various regions. He can speak to our limitations and roadblocks for sure, but equally our gifts, talents and treasures.”

“Ches’ willing to fight the fights that need to be fought, and not only fights that are winnable or popular in public opinion, speaks volumes about a man who I will be proud to call Leader.”

Mr. Antle is the Executive Director of Credit Counselling Services of Newfoundland and Labrador, a not-for-profit charitable organization dedicated to the financial wellness of all residents of Newfoundland and Labrador. Antle has significant experience dealing with credit and financial problems, and is often quoted publicly on these issues.

The next leader of the PC Party will be selected during their party convention scheduled for April 27-29, 2018. Residents must sign up with the party by January 28, 2018 in order to vote for their choice of leader.
